The Broadneck Robotics Club uses variousBroadneck Engineering And Robotics club combines mechanical engineering and computer programing skills to build robots that will perform many physical tasks on obstacle courses. Members of the club use their skills to compete in the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics regional competitions as well as build leadership skills for the future.
We begin by building and designing a small version of our robot in September. Then in December we compete in the FTC at the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata. This is not Battle Bots! The idea behind the competition is "gracious professionalism", which simply means that all teams work together to have fun and learn as much as possible.
